Yes. Each tool is one HTML file, so it opens and works with no internet connection.

Does my data get uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your business details and history are stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.

Do I need an account or a subscription?

Does OneFile support South African VAT and the domestic reverse charge (DRC)?

Yes. The Invoice Generator applies the 15% South African VAT rate by default and supports all four SARS tax behaviours: additive VAT, the domestic reverse charge (DRC), zero-rated and exempt. VAT is calculated automatically.

What devices do OneFile tools work on?

Any modern browser: Windows, macOS, Chromebook, iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets.

Will OneFile branding appear on my documents?

No. The generated PDF carries only your branding. There is no OneFile watermark.

Can I use OneFile products from an AI agent (MCP)?

One of them does today. The OneFile Invoice Generator includes a local MCP server (a single, zero-dependency file you run on your own machine) so an AI agent such as Claude Desktop or Claude Code can generate invoices by calling its generateDocument tool, with your data staying on the device. You can download it from the Invoice Generator page (azad.co.za/onefile/invoice/). The Price List Generator and Budget Tracker don't expose an MCP tool yet.
